With the massive success of his first original album 'Take A Leap Of Faith', Steve Steinman has attracted the attention of rock icon and music composer John Parr. Parr is known the world over for his Grammy-nominated hit song ‘St Elmo’s Fire’ and his duet with Meat Loaf on the US hit track ‘Rock n Roll Mercenaries’.
Parr has toured with some of the world's best, including Tina Turner, Heart and The Beach Boys, so when Steinman got a call from Parr asking if would he like to have a track for his next album, he jumped at the chance to work with the music legend.
"Steve’s done so well," Parr says, "keeping his fans happy through lockdown and he came to my attention through some powerful videos and new music capturing the essence of storytelling".
With his debut album entering the Amazon Rock Chart at #6, and with a recent #1 single under his belt, Steve Steinman is now working on his second album which will include the track from Parr.
Parr's song was originally penned for Meat Loaf back in 1982, but was never recorded. "I’m so over the moon," said Steinman. "To have been given this chance, what an opportunity to be able to work with John, it’s a dream come true."
Steinman's second album will be out in autumn 2022 when he plans to tour both his albums across the UK. Meanwhile, his debut album 'Take A Leap Of Faith', a classic high-octane hard rock album with soaring riffs and catchy hooks, is available for purchase HERE
Known for his classic rock musicals Vampires Rock and Anything For Love, which have played to audiences of hundreds of thousands and are touring throughout autumn 2021 and 2022, Steinman has built a fan base that most rock stars would envy. Those numbers look set to grow even further with the release of his new music.
