Steve Steinman has announced his forthcoming album, 'Leap Of Faith', will be released in the autumn, and as a taster has shared a video for the album's first single release, 'Take A Leap Of Faith'.
Best known for his classic rock musicals Vampires Rock and Anything For Love, featuring the music of Meat Loaf and Jim Steinman, Steve Steinman’s new album Leap of Faith is set for release in September 2021.
Steve has come a long way since his appearance as Meat Loaf on ITV's Stars In Their Eyes back in 1993. For the past 21 years he has toured the globe in his hit show, The Meat Loaf Story, which he wrote and produced.
His remarkable journey has led to him playing in some of the world's most iconic venues, including Sun City South Africa and the London Pallidum. Whilst on a trip to Las Vegas a chance meeting with Paul Crook, Meat Loaf's guitar player, led to a great friendship and an introduction to Pattie Russo, Meat Loaf's 'leading lady', which culminated in Steve and Pattie singing the duet Paradise By The Dash Board Light in the car.
Steve's work as a producer and performer caught the interest of the legendary actress and singer Toyah Willcox, who joined the cast of Vampires Rock for two tours. Steve was also later joined by rock guitarist Eddie Ojeda (Twisted Sister).
Now the critically acclaimed singer is about to unleash his first ever original music with his new album Leap of Faith. The album will contain eight epic tracks , which have an 'old school' classic rock sound with a hint of the legendary late composer Jim Steinman.
"It’s been 30 years in the making. I just didn’t have the time to put an original album together, but with Covid lockdown it became a project that would probably have never happened” - Steve Steinman
Take A Leap Of Faith is the first track to be released from the album and will be available for download on 1st May 2021 via all the usual streaming platforms.
